Reception took off on a festive adventure!
Our little learners explored how Christmas is celebrated around the world. With passports in hand, they “flew” to France, China, India, Australia, and the UK, discovering unique traditions along the way:

France – bûche de Noël (a yummy log-shaped cake)
China – bright lanterns
Australia – Christmas on the beach
India – churches decorated with poinsettias and candles
UK – trees, stockings & festive meals

The children drew pictures of each country’s traditions and shared how their own families celebrate Christmas. What an amazing way to learn about diversity and the joy of the season!
