Reception have thoroughly enjoyed the story Somebody Swallowed Stanley. They have been learning about the impact a simple plastic bag can have on wildlife. The children have had many thoughtful discussions about how we can protect our natural world. They have taken part in litter picking around the school environment and have also explored recycling. They created a list of alternative uses for plastic bags, helping to stop them from ending up in our oceans. We will continue our learning on this important topic next week.
