Year Six enjoyed storyboarding using 'Graphic Facilitation', before adding descriptive language and sentence-level ideas to their plan - all ready for our next chapter in The Hobbit.

Year 4 - Attendance Winners

Year 2 are hard at work in handwriting
Year 2 are working so hard on improving their handwriting. They are learning to take care to form letters correctly, get them the correct size and begin to join letters in their writing. The challenge is to remember to always write as nicely as they do in handwriting!

Year Six Skelmersdale Geography
Year Six were fascinated by the history of Skelmersdale as we combined historical learning with geographical study. We studied maps from over 100 years ago, and compared them with modern day maps to compare and contrast how the mining industry influenced our town!

During Friendship Day, we wore odd socks, listened to Andy and the Odd-socks song and talked about being a good friend and welcoming others into our school.
