Today the children took part in our mile. Most of them improved their laps from last week. Some great efforts!

We worked in pairs to find a shape poem online, we practised performing it and then performed it to the class.

We had great fun in our first PE lesson, despite the foggy weather! This half term our focus is Target Games.

We started off our new theme 'Explorers' by thinking about what an explorer is. We then had to imagine that we were an explorer and draw and write about what equipment we would take on our expedition.

As part of our new English topic, we have been learning how to perform play scripts. This is great practice with our Nativity next week!

This week we took part in another exciting investigation. We looked at what effects certain drinks have on our teeth. We used an egg to represent our teeth, as the shell acts as a protector just like our enamel. In groups we took certain drinks (coke, lemonade, water, juice) and submerged the egg…

In Science this term we have started to look at the different types of teeth and why we have them. We have compared human teeth and animal teeth to see if there are any similarities or differences.
