This week is anti-bullying week and we have started the week by learning about bullying and what it is.

We then looked at ways we could be kind and wrote three different ways. Year 2 decided that the best way to show kindness is to say something nice to your friends.

Year 5 had a lovely time out in our forest school area, with Miss Hanrahan. We talked about rationing and about community spirit, whilst huddled together in the lovely November weather! We even had a cheeky jam scone in true Keep Calm and Carry On spirit.

Year 5 loved becoming soldiers and put ourselves through a series of drills, push ups, sprints, slaloms and Stuck in the Mud – with a twist – and some pretty embarrassing marching!

Year 4 loved participating in this weeks military style PE session! They marched, crawled and even did some push ups!

Year 3 enjoyed a military style PE lesson as part of World War 2 week. The children worked on some stamina activities, practised their press ups and pull ups and their marching. The lesson finished with a game to work on their army crawling!
