Year 4 - Mindfulness
As part of our Jigsaw lesson, we took part in a guided Yoga session, practicing our breathing techniques and learning to focus. Year 4 #enjoyed competing the activity and learning the new techniques.
Year Six Geography
Year Six enjoyed learning about population density, and why areas become densely populated. We also discussed why certain areas remain sparsely populated.
Autumn Adventures
We loved our Autumn adventures today! The children LOVED exploring for the different signs of autumn and collecting some autumn treasures. We then worked together to create an autumn picture frame to have a lovely autumn memory of the little ones. #enjoy #embrace
Prime Numbers in Year 5!
Year 5 have been learning all about prime numbers this week in maths! They have worked exceptionally hard this afternoon to identify whether a number is prime or composite #embrace
Science - Absorbency experiments
We had to carry out an experiment to investigate which materials were the most absorbent. We learnt that absorbent means soaks up water easily and had to make our predictions before testing different materials.

Twinkle Twinkle ⭐️
A fun filled week of activities around our nursery rhyme ‘Twinkle Twinkle.’ We have been to space through our cosmic yoga class, made salt dough stars, explored printing, mark making and worked on our number skills using marks to represent numbers!

Year 3 Black History October 2020
As part of Black History Month, today we have been learning about Muhammad Ali. It was really interesting finding out about his life, especially when he was growing up, he was segregated. He was not allowed to go to school, restaurants or public places where white people went.

Physical Geography
Our focus in geography has been physical features of the UK. We worked in pairs and used the iPads to find information about different mountains around the UK. These included Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon and Scafell Pike.

This week in English, Year 3 have been really enthusiastic learning about biographies and reading about the lives of different famous people! Over the next couple of weeks we will be writing our own biography about a chosen person.
