Year 2 - Remembrance Art
Year 2 have been learning about Remembrance and why we wear poppies. They enjoyed experimenting with drawing poppies before then painting their design onto a pebble to place in our Victory Garden. They wrote some lovely thoughtful messages to go alongside them.
Year 4 - Poppy Textiles
Year 4 #embraced their sewing skills to create some Poppies to add to our class Poppy Wreath.
They were very impressed with themselves and love how it turned out. Our Poppy Wreath has been placed in our schools Victory Garden to mark our respects.
Year 4 Cenotaph Visit
This afternoon, Year 4 went out to visit our school Victory Garden. We took the time to think about all the soldiers that fell during WW2. We lay down our class wreath by the Cenotaph and hung up our messages.
